SHOP, SIP, SAVE
A series of three posters using original photography, creative layout, and experimental typography to promote a local vintage market. Controlled chaos plays a crucial role in this design, balancing various colors, shapes, and typefaces to create an exciting and inviting look and feel. Each poster targets a specific activity or incentive to stop by: shop fresh vintage, sip tasty brews, and save your [their] planet.

Recently returning from a study abroad trip to Italy, I stumbled upon this vintage market at Oyster City Brewing Co. I longed for the sweet aroma of a street market; cluttered crowds of people, a symphony of color, texture, and shouting voices in languages I don't understand—pure bliss. While this market is nothing like that [probably a good thing], I was able to use it as an opportunity to get some low pressure event photography experience under my belt. I had my camera in hand and spoke with the head vendor who was all for it. There's lots of peaking over shoulders and in between clothing racks—I try to capture what's like to shop at the market, catching candid moments of finding the perfect addition to an outfit or sipping an ice cold beer in the shining sun.
